Celebrating their 22nd season, Philadelphia Farm is dedicated to CSA, education in sustainable living, conservation and ecological restoration. The resident community includes adults with special needs, and they host as many as 1,000 children per year for visits and service-learning in the garden and surrounding natural areas. If you're curious to know what community feels like, this is the place to go.
The family at Philadelphia Farm, is pioneering in the movement to address nature deficit disorder in children. Through biodynamic agriculture, they nurture the farm as a whole organism, building a regenerating circle of soil, plant, animal and human life. They not only heal nature and provide a food source, but also team building, confidence and the opportunity to learn how to work.
