Our Favorite restaurant in St. Paul! We have been loyal patrons of chef Lenny Russo and his incredible midwestern haute cuisine for many years. The name Heartland not only conveys the regional identity of the restaurant, but also the love that chef Russo and his staff put behind each dish.
The Farm Direct Market is located just off the restaurant, and features all of the ingredients found in Heartland's restaurant kitchen such as fresh produce, eggs, dairy and locally harvested meat, fish and poultry. In addition, Heartland's own proprietary label products, including house made charcuterie, jams, jellies, preserves, stocks and soups, can be found of the market's shelves and in its refrigerated and frozen cases.
The market deli features sandwiches, soups, prepared salads and hot and cold entrees as well as a fully stocked bakery and coffee bar. All of Heartland's baked goods are made fresh daily by Heartland's pastry chefs and bakers.
The Heartland currently uses our Raw Wildflower Honey in its kitchen, and offers our Wild Sumac Honey (4 oz), Lavender Blossom Honey (4 oz), Buckwheat Honey (4 oz) and Sweet Thistle Honey (4 oz) on the market shelves.
